Tournament History

About The Events

Our tour events are mainly held at Harbor Beach at the Santa Cruz Yacht Harbor in front of Cafe El Palomar and Crow's Nest.  Players earn points towards qualifying for the year end final as well as cash and prizes.

About The Tournament Director David Yeakel

I have been involved in beach volleyball for over twenty years, and have run tournaments at the Harbor Beach for five years. Since the Cuervo Pro Tour stopped coming to Santa Cruz I felt there was a void in professional tournaments in the area. Our tour has become progressively bigger as I've found that there is great interest from players, fans and local businesses who want to be involved.  I am excited about this year and have added many new sponsors who I feel will compliment our already strong base of sponsors. With the addition of TV commercials and larger print ads I feel this will add valuable exposure for the tour as well as sponsors. My main goal for this tour is to offer great entertainment for players and fans alike with live music, our D.J., and refreshments at our tiki bar. Not to mention some of the best men's and women's teams battling it out for over six thousand dollars in cash and prizes each event.
